After stowing meat in the food cache, Peter harvests the rutabaga and parsnips and stores them in the root cellar. He then spends time looking at some artifacts of the Indigenous people of North America, discussing how many of them were made and used. Finally, he plants garlic, thereby finishing gardening for the season.
